So i just got a Crosshair x870e hero and installed my Gigabyte rtx 4090 gaming oc and i noticed after i screwed it to the case it had some vertical wiggle and it didnt make a distinct clicking sound when i installed it so i unscrewed it and tried to pull it straight out very gently just to see if it was locked in place and it did pull straight out with no damage or anything pretty easily. i took it out and examined the pcie slot and it looks perfectly normal theres nothing broken or anything im thinking it may just be the design of my gpu. i put it back in and tried to manually push the latch up all the way but it wouldnt lock idek if that how that works, anyway i didnt break anything i was just wondering if i should send my motherboard back or if its just my gpu design like i said it functions perfectly, i tested it in 3dmark and i got an above average score soo any comments and or advice on this would be great thanks.
