G75VX new HDD - help?

I got my G75VX a couple months ago with the standard 5400 rpm drive. I just received my new 7200 WD black drive and want to make it my primary drive, using the 5400 for music/picture storage. I know how to take the casing apart and put it into the second hard drive bay, but how do I install it and transfer all of my data (OS, everything) to the new drive? No idea what I'm doing on that end.

If i were you, i would do a clean install and then select the wd drive as system partition.
There are tools to mirror and move the os from one hd to another, which is pretty easy, im not a fan of that though.

If you did not get a CD from WD with the new drive then go to their web site and download the appropriate software to setup the new drive and to move/copy the info on the 'old' drive to the new one. The software will make the 'new' one bootable, etc.
