I want to install a 120g SSD and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations. Also I have 8g of RAM was wondering if its possible to upgrade to 16g? Thanks.

Put bios in achi mode, remove all other drives till install is completed. This makes sure the boot files end up where they should instead of off on a storage drive.

No reason you can't upgrade memory. Ram is cheap these days.

As long as you have an i7-XX0QM processor, it should work. That RAM upgrade (get all-new 1333) should cost you~$70 or less.
I am disturbed because I cannot break my system...found out there were others trying to cope! We have a support group on here, if your system will not break, please join!
