Yo Guys,
I am up to buy 4 sticks of this memory:
G.Skill RipJaws V black DIMM Kit 32GB, DDR4-3200, CL16-16-16-36 (F4-3200C16Q-32GVK).

I can't find them on the QV-List, so does anyone have experience using this memory on an ASUS X99-Deluxe?

That memory is Z170 oriented not X99....you want Ripjaws 4 🙂

Hello Fritz_the_Germ

Newegg says the ripjaws v is compatible with x99 but I don't see it on the G.Skill QVL list.

You might just want to go with ripjaws 4.

I have that kit for a Hero VIII but I couldn't resist not installing it on my RVE, I set the memory manually to 3200MHZ and set the primary timings and voltage manually to the factory settings. It works really well, the AIDA memory bandwidth scores were right up there with my GSKill Hynix kit at the same speed, was quite the shocker for me I wasn't expecting that. An excellent kit IMO

Oh yeah, could you please hit up a screen shot about the AIDA memory bandwidth?:)

Well...good to know but I will say not everyone is as lucky...have seen one kit like this not work...one work after tweaking...

If you don't want to/cant tweak, maybe stay with QVL stuff...or if it's an easy return policy where you get it from try it out...

Thank you. I will do so.

You may be better off listening to Arne than me. I just re installed the V series 32GB 3200MHZ kit, F5 to set defaults, set XMP, and set my core and cache to 4500mhz, I can't say what I would get at the speeds Arne is running his system at, I haven't tried this CPU at those speeds but if this is any indication the new Samsung chips are somewhat better than the earlier Samsung chips. If you got for the Ripjaw 4's get a 3200mhz kit, they XMP at 100blck the 2666 - 3000mhz modules XMP blck at 125 which is not a bad thing except adaptive voltage may not work correctly at that blck.

Arne my friend as the Governator says I'll be back

Arne my friend as the Governator says I'll be back, I am curious to see if I can tighten timings on these modules, Samsung may be back in the sadle
