In the 3d settings I set ambient occlusion to quality, texture filtering to high quality and maximum pre rendered frames to 2. Pretty much everything else you can set to application controlled and use the game settings, set all game settings to ultra with all Antialiasing settings turned off.
You can add more color and contrast under "adjust desktop color" below manage 3d settings.
It should look good and you should be above 40 FPS minimum. You could overclock it for a nice performance boost, there is a guide in my signature at the bottom of my post.
