Hey, I was wanting to do a factory reset on my Asus Laptop, I have recovery discs that my computer had me make when I got the computer brand new. I had a couple questions....
1. I have 4 Hard Drives in my computer, one was designated as a backup, I was wondering if that will also be factory reset. I'm hoping it will, because I basically just want the computer back to the way it was from the beginning. Do I have to do anything to that file to make sure it also resets?
2. Does everything get deleted and reset from the beginning just by restarting my computer and spamming F9 while the computer is starting up, then following the instructions...or do I have to do anything before I turn my computer off?
3. What do I do if my recovery CDs dont work?
4. Will everything actually come back on my computer to when I first got it out of the box...for example the little gadgets, the 3d demo(i have a 3d laptop), the turbo boost tool... or will that all be reset and lost?
I would appreciate if some one could give a general list of steps I have to take, as I have never done this before!
