Error 53 & 65

Originally my pc would not POST whatsoever, then it fixed itself no clue how that happened, then it had a problem with error code "0c". Now it varies between error "53" when I have RAM installed and error "65" without RAM. Does not POST or go to bios pls help this is frustrating because it is error after error.

Hi arcticflyer...happy new year:)

Sorry you've got problems:(

Could you post up full system specs so we know what's connected to what. And BIOS version too. Is your RAM on the QVL for the motherboard...a single kit or two kits of the same. What GPU? have you made sure of the power connections and that the GPU is properly seated..that sort of thing...

Hey happy new year...
My system specs are 3930k, xfx 7970, corsair ax1200, force Gt

but good news everything works once more... turns our my first Dimm port stopped working and as soon as I filled up another red Dim port it worked fine booted to the bios (4.1 I think, the latest one because when I had problems earlier I flashed the latest bios). I rearlly don't understand because now everything works again and it is in the same config as it was before. I am guessing the bios was the problem but I am probably going to RMA the board because of the dim switch+ I had noticed earlier as well that it only saw 3 of my 4 sticks.
Cheers

Hmm well sometimes the BIOS can get screwy so reflashing is a good point to start if other things fail....but yes, if the board is consistently dropping RAM on that slot despite changing sticks etc...then I would first try reseating the CPU and checking the socket pins but if this doesn't help then sure send back the board. Just test the RAM and CPU seating first...
