Dead GTX670

😞

My new GTX670(non-top) just went dead for no reason
messed up boot and windows screens and can't even load the driver

Did i do something wrong? It just suddenly reboot this morning and I wasn't even touching it!!

Test a clean driver install. If that doesn't work try to update GPU bios.

my friend i think your ram moved up little from its space so you need to check it out 🙂

both tried and checked
Driver can't be install because windows said my display card is reporting problem, code 46 or something
ram is check when i put my old 5770 back and it runs normally 😞
with the GTX670 i can even see a word in the mobo bios it's just all messed up 😞

What PSU are you using? Does the fan on the card all seem to be running ok?

everything working fine, fans, tests, blah blah untill this morning, it just suddenly reboot by itself and everything is messed up 😞

be shure to remove ALL the ATI/AMD drivers from that AMD card.
even run some sort of drive sweeper if you know of a good one.
then instal nvidia card and instal.

Just tried... I think the card is defective... I also tried to put it in my old setup and still messed up 😞
I really don't have any luck when it comes to graphic cards 😞

As I mentioned try to find the newest GPU BIOS version for your GPU and flash these, might be that the BIOS is corrupt.

How do i flash the bios if I can't see whats on the screen?
