Daemon Tools new version?

Hi, sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong place but I was just curious.

Looking at the downloads on this site: http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_1155/Maximus_V_GENE/#download
I found that there is a download for version 5 of daemon tools, is this a free upgrade? Or must we pay for the upgrade if we installed the version of daemon tools from our motherboard cd?

As I can't seem to activate this new version of daemon tools online, it says the free upgrade period has expired...

Any help is appreciated, thanks...

The software provided on the product pages of each are what we offer in terms of bundled software for each particular product. They are sometimes limited to a particular version(s).

Outside of this we are still waiting on some Win8 updates on some applications, should it still be within the update period (Maximus V are for example).

My mobo is a maximus V Gene and I can't seem to be able to obtain this upgrade. What would you advise in this case then...

How about I elaborate, here is what happens when I try to install daemon tools from the asus driver website:



Clicking prolong then takes me to the licenses website and this is what I see:

+1 for this, I have the same problem and a MVG motherboard.

As the software bundle is a "complete package" i think the Standard version of the software must be free for our Asus members.

DAEMON Tools Pro 5.1.0.0336, is an intermediate test version that we sent as a model for future motherboards releases from ASUS. In the near future, ASUS developers are planning to let motherboards with the new DAEMON Tools Pro version. We will specify information, why test version was published on the website.
In your case, your motherboard can be used only 4,40,312 version, without the possibility of updates.

I don't know, the deal is the v4 packaged with your MB.. if you want more, you pay more...
