Crosshair V Formula-Z q-code-66 confused

Ok guys, motherboard above. this problem is doing my head in, and ive searched a lot, i can only figure im missing something stupid, specs are:

PSU; COBRA 750W
CPU: FX8350
RAM tried both Crucial 2gb ddr3's (i think 1300's) and Corsair Vengeance 4gb 1866mhz
GPU:Asus R7 Radeon 260 (is this incompatable? i'll be pi:mad::mad:ed if so as it was reccomended as a cheaper GPU option with the mobo)
Multiple SATA HDD's..
Heres the score, tried CMOS clear, 'messed' around reseating double checking etc, it still doesnt want to know anything exept for POST bios stays up for maybe 5-10 seconds, which isnt enough time to do anything really, then the screen goes blank and its sitting happily with q-code 66 and The boot LED on.... i have heard this problem moaned about a lot, i need a few other brains to help me here, because im reaching 'grab your pitchforks and climb the mountain to ASUS... lol but seriously i cant figure this one out. i know its running 1806 or one of the more up to date Bios's so flashing it is real last resort for me. and additional note, sometimes vary rarely it has gone to q-code 99 (and no its not which side im standing) but same blank screen anyways
Please help, im techno-deprived... thanks in advance

Bios 2002 is the latest and you should download it from the ASUS Website. At the same time obtain a copy of the renaming tool, combine the two on an empty USB and the renaming tool will convert the Bios file to the correct format. Shut down your system but do not disconnect you power cable, Use your usb bios flashback port on the IO panel then press the ROG connect button with the infinity symbol on it. The light on the ROG connect will flash after briefly pushing the button, Let it do its stuff and when the flashing has stopped your done. This is the safest and easiest method.

I don't know why your q code has halted at 63-67 which is: DXE Core has started, maybe someone else can enlighten you further as this is a strange one to me.
