Core voltage stuck at 1.183

Hello all,

i have a maximus formula vi and i can't get the load voltage any lower than 1.183.
The weird thing is i can get it lower than 1.183 in manual mode but not any other modes.
I restored the settings to default many times and even flash the bios and the
load voltage still won't go lower.

any help would be appreciated thank you.

Hello kaigaming

Clear the cmos, switch to adaptive mode and set the windows power plan to balanced. This should get your cpu voltage to drop when at idle.

I have cleared CMOS, but its still the same. The problem I am having is not with idle voltage but load voltage.
When i set adaptive voltage to maximum of 1.14, it ignores it and jumps to 1.183.

Thank you,
the offset works, it seems like when i set a value for adaptive voltage, it won't go lower than the "auto" value, which is 1.183.
Do you know why it does that?
