Computer won't wake on after hibernation "sleep" without power drain off/on tweek!?!

It is possible is because your PSU isn't "haswell ready" / compatible. Truth I didn't watch vid, but I recently became aware of this issue. I believe in your BIOS -> Advanced -> Cstates, c7 is haswell low power sleep, turn of the c6 and two c7 things and see what happens.

Edit: Whoa i watched the video, that's screwy. Try what I said, after that try a diff PSU i guess, if not might be a mobo fault, did you contact ASUS? After you've already tried Cstates and a diff PSU, give em a call and they gotta actually put effort into helping you cuz u did the initial fixes already 🙂

ANSWER:

It WAS my PSU.

My NZXT Hale 90 v.2 1200watt was the problem. It seems as though it is faulty. I checked just by plugging in my reserve PSU I use just for occasions like this.

you could just remove hibernate all together powercfg.exe /hibernate off
