Hi all,

I'll be overclocking pretty much everything and I'll have 2 loops but I was wondering if anyone here put a block on there chipset.
If so, did you see a big difference in temps? I'll list the whole system later.

Just out of interest what are you wanting to cool specifically, the PCH chip?

The key things are the VRM's and they come with the water block attached, pretty much every other controller is now on the CPU.

Thanks for the interest HiVizMan..:)

Well the cpu and VRM's will be on their own loop and the vid cards on their own loop. The ram is Corsairs Platinum series and it does very well on it's own. The Z77 chip-set was the only thing I was wondering about. I havent run an asus board for quite some time so I thought I would get a few recommendations. Im guess it isn't going to generate much heat and that's why I haven't seen it done. Still it does have a heatsink so it must have some heat to it.

From an aesthetic point of view it might be worth while but practically the heat generated is marginal. Maybe EK waterblocks do something for the Formula board.

Those were pretty much my thoughts. With my case you wouldn't really even see it anyway. I do love EK's stuff and they do have full board coverage now for this board. Will have to see how the stock board VRM heatsinks perform before switching to EK though. Thanks for the input.
