Change CR for 2600 mhz ram

I've managed to overclock my Kingston HyperX beast RAM to 2600 mhz but can't seem to keep it stable with a CR of 1. It's stable at CR 2. Can anyone provide me with any advice on how to proceed. Using 4 sticks of 4, timmings are 11-13-13-30. Block at 100, dram voltage 1.75v, IO at 1.20v.

Samual I would suggest that you are at the limit of your CPU (IMC) or your ram.

All I can suggest is that you increase the VCCIO/SA a notch or two.

I followed your advice and along with disabling half my ram managed to get it stable. I think i'm at the limit of my memtweakit scoring. Have a few other things to try to increase my score. Memtweakit is addictive.

Sorry folks, I know this is an old thread. But I just noticed Samuel's freakin MemTweakit score! Holy Crap! I have the same CPU @ 4.9GHz and the same amount of RAM (DOM Platinum mixed with RipjawZ) 16GB running at 2400 w/ 9-12-11-31 CR1 LB 5, and I'm only getting scores in the 40000+ range! How in the hell are you getting 111000+ Samuel? I mean DAMN, you are seriously Rippin and Runnin brother! Nicely done!

He used half of his RAM, which in turn works the IMC a little less across now 2 slots...plus, he's not mixing kits of RAM either.

Yah, the first part makes sense, but I think that the mixing problem has to do with even being able to Post, or manage higher speeds right? I have sort of figured that I am just lucky as hell that these two Kits happened to run well together. I mean, my Benchmark scores (other than stupid MemTweakit... Bitter? nah not me lol!)are all up there with the peeps who run single Kits at the same speed that I run. But I think you may have nailed it with your first point. Maybe I'll try the same thing.
