Cannot Enable XMP GSkill DDR5 7600 on 13900 + ROG Extreme

New build
13900k, ROG Extreme, 4090.
64 Gb (via 4x 16gb sticks in appropriately paired slots) G.Skill DDR5-7600 CL36-46-46-121
Latest firmware installed on mobo (0703).

Build functions with default BIOS settings....but I cannot enable XMP.
This is just with with default settings in the BIOS. No AI OC or otherwise. I just want to start by enabling XMP, then go from there. But when I do, I can't post.
If I just leave everything to AUTO, then my memory speed is way down (Windows lists as 4800, CPUZ 2400).
If I leave everything AUTO, but just set my my memory speed to 7600, I can't post.

Any ideas? Is it just not yet supported by Asus Extreme?

There are many ROG Extreme boards. I'm assuming you mean the ROG Maximus Z790 Extreme.

DDR clock is half of the transfer rate. 2400 MHz is the clock speed, 4800 MT/s is the transfer rate; it's Double Data Rate (DDR).

Your configuration is not on the QVL. The QVL only has 2 stick configurations for 7600 (that's the "socket support" column); 4 stick overclocked memory is harder to run than 2 stick. You may find success by reducing the speed and/or loosening the timings. There are currently no 4 stick configurations on the QVL, but that may change as DDR5 matures. I'd probably start at about 6000 or 6400, and see if that's stable, then try each faster step until I found the point of instability. Once you think you've found the fastest stable speed, running Memtest might be a good idea, to confirm that it really is stable.

So I tried G.Skill 6400 and my game would drop to desktop over and over until I lowered it down to 6000. That was an ASUS x570E hero board. I decided to send it back and went with Team Group 7600. I am pairing that with i3900k in a new Z790 rog maximus board. I really like the G.Skill modules. There is also a G.Sklii 7600. What do you guys think. Did you ever get your G.Skil to run properly?
