Building a New PC

hi all

in the process of trying to build a new pc

the specs are

1 motherboard Asus - X79, LGA2011, 8xDDR3, 4xPCIe3, SATA3, BT, GBLAN, USB3, ROG KEY, (RAMPAGE-IV-BLACK-EDITION-AC4)

2 ram 32gb of corsair dominator platinum CMD32GX3M4A 1600C9 VERSION 3.24

3 780TI Geforce galaxy 3tb graphics

4 I7 4930k intel core processor

5 asus 1200 case

what i was wondering i xmp is required for the use of all of the 32gb ram

i am using windows 7 pro 64 bit

ps the ram was cheap that why i got the 32gig

is this ram ok or will i have problems ?
i was told i would have to enable xmp or the ram wont be stable ?

Hi Vindictive666, Welcome to the ROG community. if your ram supports XMP you can use it or you can set up your ram manually. Make sure you get your ram as one kit, It's not a good idea to mix 2 of the same kits it can give you headaches.
