Bug with 980ti Strix and GPU Tweak ?

I slide the GPU Boost bar for 'Gaming Mode' to about 1400 Mhz and click 'Apply' but it seems to not have saved the config. Is this a bug ?

A couple of minutes later, i got artifacts in WoW and my whole system froze and my PG279Q says something 'No display on DisplayPort'

Should I be concerned, or will the application automatically reset to default ? If not , how can I reset it to default factory OC speeds ?

Hello i'm using the previous version GPUTweak2_Ver1291_20160621

If I download and update to latest version, will it set my 980 Ti Strix core speed back to default ?

Uninstall any version of GPU Tweak ll before installing a new version or u will have issues , u can use add remove programs or the tweak removal tool from the link above
When u uninstall the version u have now and install a new version the new version will be the default core speed
besure to uninstall the old version first OK Tweak Removal tool can be found here

Thanks - I did that and that works. Defaulted back to 1291 boost I think

But the funny thing is I still can't save any overclock changes...?

I adjusted the core clock slider to 1300 and click 'Apply' but still does not save my settings; just reverted back to the default 'Gaming Mode' settings

Do I need to enable something first ?

No u do not have to do anything else , Sometimes GPU Tweak ll has issues , if u read the Asus Software thread u will see . I have an Asus Gold20th GTX980Ti Version 1291works perfectly for me. So Far ,
http://rog.asus.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?205-ASUS-Software
u could try MSI Afterburner Version 4.2.0 but do not run both Tweak and afterburner at same time OK. Asus is working on a new version of Tweak , see if afterburner makes difference but read the afterburner features please. in the last month Asus has released 4 versions of Tweak ll some due to new cards and some for Tweak ll issues,

Do not install 4.3.0 afterburner beta its for 1080 1070 cards

Thanks. I think I will prefer to keep it at stock factory OC at the moment

Happy with 1190/1290

Also what's funny is the graph on the GPU Tweak (previous version) shows as 1380 Mhz as max when im in game ? Why does it do this , even if the max Gaming Mode clock is 1290 Mhz ?

could be a bug but then again it might not be, I get different readings from tweak and afterburner , Asus will fix all this in time .
