Bsod 101

It weird all of a sudden all I am getting while attempting to overclock is a BSOD 101. No 124's which is what I am used to on my other board. I have tried numerous overclocks and am still getting that stop number. I suspect it is not VCORE but I could be wrong.

Any help would be greatly appreciated....

Yeap, that code usually means to low Vcore...

What is your CPU frequency, CPU voltages and Digi+ settings now?

I keep bumping up VCORE .060 for 47ghz. 1.432 for core voltage. I have nothing changed in my digi settings right now although I did before. It is just odd as I nornally get 124 BSOD's for VCORE. I just switched out my RAM. I was running 4x2400 now I am running 4x2133.

I dount that will make a difference. Each time I run Prime I get more passes as I raise the offset. It is just way too high for a 4.7 overclock. Doesn't make sense. I am under water so my temps are fine.... My VID is 1.376.

Thanks!

BSOD 124 isn't a pure RAM code... it's more memory management which may be corrected at certain level by bumping the Vcore...

Yeah. Each time I up the VCORE i get more passes. Just curious why I am bumping things up so high.

Should I update my BIOS I am at 1404? Or, are these updates primarily for user of Windows 8? Any known improvement?

TIA

Why are you double posting?! 🙂

What would you expect from updating the BIOS?
