Blue ray reader / writer dissapear

Hey I am running window7 64 on Extreme 4 board , after updating firmware (3602) the reader is gone , I tried all windows solutions and nothing is working , the reader/writer is working by itself but windows is not recognizing it (code 19)

Did you clear the CMOS after the update?

Hi , I never do after update and never saw it as a reason for a problem in any forum I searched and I never had an issue with that for many years, do you have any more info about it?

Anyhow I did it but no change , in the screen before window is coming up you see the device and in the bios it appears as well.

Have you tried re-installing the driver? Maybe you need to uninstall the old damaged driver first, since Windows thinks it is damaged.
