If you have the bios on a fresh fat 32 USBdrive .. easy flash ? (bump).c.

how long has it been blinking..

Be a little careful when doing this, a interrupted bios update, can result in a faulty bios.. and major errors.

it blink for a while (around 1 min maybe), slow, a little faster, fast. DONE

it was a brand new motherboard and i am trying to flash the bios to 3404 i have left the computer for hours and the light is still flashing. Also the computer wont post and the red DRAM LED turns on whenever i try to turn on the computer. (that is why i am trying to flash the bios, to find out if that is the problem but i am having problems doing that aswell...)

Is this the first BIOS update for the board? If so please take a look at this guide, the RIVE requires a CAP converter as it is using ROM BIOS first:

I have already done the cap update and it appeared to be successful

It seems that that if you have the ROG connect cable plugged in on the motherboard, the update will blink forever...
