difference between 1 gtx 580 and 2 gtx 460 SLI ?

hello! i want to buy the gtx 580 900Mhz 3 Go GDDR5. because of the cost, i can only buy one right now. i already have 2 gtx 460 in SLI. is it worth the trouble to buy only one 580 ? or is it better to keep my 2 460 ? thank!
