M.2 on Formula VII

Anyone from ASUS, why did you hide the M.2 connection beneath the armor on the Formula VII? You will have to remove the armor to use an M.2 SSD. I'm still buying the board next month, maybe I'll break out the Dremmel when I go M.2.
