Question about Sata port 5/6

MOBO: Crosshair 5 FormulaI set my sata in bios to Raid. Im using ports 1/2/3 to Raid 3 SSD Drives.I plugged my WD Caviar Black into Pot 5. But the Bios wont pick it up. My Optical Drive is plugged into Sata 6 and works just fine. How does that work?

Crosshair VIII Hero (wifi) temp sensors

For my motherboard, I see sensors for Temp #1-7. Is there somewhere that defines what each of these sensors is monitoring? 1, 2, and 7 look like they aren't actually reading anything as they stay pegged at the same value.
