ASUS Z87 PRO MOBO-System keeps restarting?!? Help!

If I put my pc to sleep through windows=restart

If I put it to hibernate=restart

If I shut it down=turns off...then turns back on! (AKA, RESTART)

My mobo is asus z87 PRO and my psu is corsair series tx 850w. None seem to be defective. The psu runs fine when I am using windows 7. My graphics cards work fine, usbs do to, etc. It just when I turn it off or put it to sleep. Its not random restarting, just when I do the above.

I checked the power options in windows, nothing is checked to turn to turn on the system. I just built this pc yesterday, and all parts are new. Windows 7 works fine and everything...just my pc keeps restarting when I do the above actions. Any help is appreciated!!!! Thanks!!!

Welcome to the ROg forums, nazeim.

If you have the Intel RST software installed, remove it from your system. Restart and it should be fixed.

If you have a wifi connection then it is possible that is preventing the sleep issue. IRST is a know problem for power down. Use a older version of the application.
To help us help you - please provide as much information about your system and the problem as possible.
