I finished this build about a month ago and everything is running smooth aside from minor glitches that I'm still working through. One of the bugs is that when I try to run the ASUS Update utility (v7.18.03) it says that the program only works with ASUS Motherboards. It's not a big deal since I don't use the utility but thought it was kinda weird. Any thoughts?

All ASUS Update utility does is update your BIOS. And we don't recommend you update the BIOS through the OS. So you're not really missing anything, mate. 😉

If I may be blunt, Do not update via that utility, If you need the latest Drivers or BIOS go to the motherboard support page and download them.

However when or if flashing BIOS remember to not do so via the OS> ever.

Go into the bios and navigate to tools there is a ezflash2 utility that with a fat formatted USB stick is the best way to flash your bios.
