Asus UEFI Display

Hi Guys,

Recently set up my Maximus IV P67 system but have been experiencing an annoying issue in BIOS.

When I reach UEFI BIOS by hitting Del button, I can only see some of the options. The resolution doesn't seem to support.
I see some corruption in graphics in some area too. Because of this I cannot see most of the BIOS settings.

I have a Samsung 27 Inch monitor. My Graphincs card is Sapphire 7970 connected via HDMI.

How do I fix this?

You are using a TV screen yes? Sometimes that is a problem for the system when there is no graphic driver to help, like when you are in BIOS option.

Change the resolution of your TV screen and see what works when you are in bios.

Unfortunately there is not option to change the resolution in the monitor. Any other ideas?

Nope that is about it. You are just going to have to plug another monitor in if you want to play in the BIOS.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for all your replies.. Like I said I was connected via HDMI. I noticed that there was a DP cable provided with the monitor when I checked the box. So I connected DP end to the monitor and other end using a HDMI to mini DP adapter and it worked fine. Thanks again.

Yeah HDMI is a pain with TV and PC connections. Thanks for the feedback and fix very elegant.
