ASUS MAXIMUS VII HERO wont boot directly to windows 7, goes to bios

I installed windows 7 on a solid state drive. When I turn on my computer it takes me to the ASUS bios and it stays there with the only option is to enter bios by pressing F1. I have gone into bios and set my solid state drive as priority 1 but it still wont boot from it. I have to manually select my solid state drive and boot it from there. Please help.

How did you install OS to that drive? Did you do so using this motherboard? Which SATA port are you fitting your drive to? Use only the Intel SATA ports please not the others.
To help us help you - please provide as much information about your system and the problem as possible.

I installed it using the Asus Maximus motherboard. Here is a pic of the sata ports I have it connected to. It is the white one on the left.
