I look around on the forums to see if there was anyting on these cards didn't find anything.
I have a question regarding these cards running on a Hero VI Z87 board. I helped my nephew build his new system. He purchased 2 of these cards I installed them. But once I installed the Drivers for them all we got was a black screen. I would have to go in safe mode to restore the system back so we could get to the desktop. I tried older drivers same thing. Really not sure what is going on.
Look at the compatablity they are not listed all though the XFX 7770 1GD5 are. I have reinstalled the OS set the BIOS to defaults. We were running 2 of these cards removed one and tried with just one card same results.
So I took one of my XFX 7770 out of my Hero system and no issues other than the game he plays giving him issues.
He is running at Hero VI Z87 I7 4770k 16gigs patriot Viper mem, 2 raided 120gig SSD's, Win 7 Ultiment 64 bit. It's nothing fancy just a newer system for him. He has look forward to this but we have had these issues.
If there is a post about this I appologize for double posting. I appreciate any insight to this.
