Asus G20-BM GPU Upgrade options?

So I'm planning on getting the G20BM:
-AMD FX 770K ( Quad-Core )
-AMD Radeon R9 270
-8GB RAM



I definitely want to upgrade the graphics card. My question is what AMD graphics cards are compatible with the G20 series?
I know a lot of people upgrade their G20's GPU to GTX 980s, but I'm personally an AMD guy. I have a Powercolor R9 380
laying around but I'm not sure if it will fit.

Is it true only
reference cards will be able to fit in the G20? If so, which AMD ones will work? Thanks.
