Hello,
Tried installing both AI Suite 2 and 3.
There's a thread in the forums to do it for older boards..
I can get everything in AI Suite working just fine, just not Fan Xpert 2.
I keep getting an error every time
AI Suite II.exe
Assertion failed: index < Count(), file..\src\asus\Sensor.cpp, line 1680Anyone else had this and/or know how to fix it?
- I realize the Crosshair doesnt come with Fan Xpert 2, but seeing as everything else works I figured I may be able to get it.
What annoys me greatly about the first version of fan xpert is that I can only see CPU and Case fans. Not the Opt_ ones... And thus cant regulate their speeds.
EDIT: have decided to use the AI Suite II, and Fan Xpert 1 program.
Basically I had to go to the BIOS/UEFI and setup the fans + set them up in fan expert.
From what I can tell when the fans go below 5-600rpms they come up as zero RPMs in Fan Xpert.
Since I have Noctua's which can potentialy run at down to 300rpm they didn't show up which confused me.
I now have them running on CHA_FAN plugs and can use the Fan controller software to put them just above the minimum RPMs so they show up.
If someone is able to make the AI Suite III with Fan Xpert 2 work on a Crosshair Formula-Z, I would be very grateful
🙂
