Could some one tell me why ASUS AI SUITE 3 is doing this?? The CPU fan has a " ! " now and wasn't there before I overclocked....

Could you please list all your hardware.

No I do not have a fan connected to the CPU OPT header, Like I stated above it doesn't do that till I run the fan expert or do the 4 way optimization. If you delete the program and reinstall all the fan boxes run properly once again so go figure....

Since no fan is connected to the CPU_OPT header, then the 0 RPM reading inside AI Suite III is just the way it should be. No problems there.

But why is it working correctly till you overclock or run fan expert is my biggest concern.....

Does that behaviour happen with FanXpert if you are on stock or defaults?

ASUS AI SUITE 3 working correctly version 1.0041 updated to 1.0051 as long as I don't overclock or run fan expert 2. But what is the point of having the program if you can not use it.

I have tried both overclocked and stock settings I get the same results!
