AMD 9590 .. Why?

After reading a few reviews and informational pages my question is... Why?

I have an 8350 now I run stable at 4900 ... I can go to 5100. Money wise the additional $$ for a specially binned chip makes no sense to me.

Save yourself some $$ and get a 4770k and motherboard for the same price as the 9590.

Am I missing something?

Nah mate, you haven't missed a thing. The ONLY reason for the 9590's existence is to show that they could do it, that's all.

It is like some memory manufactures. There are kits out there in the extreme end of frequency but you get better performance with 2400MHz cas11
