I was searching for some good memory at a low price and came across some ADATA RAM. Although I hadn't heard much about them from an enthusiast standpoint, I thought I'd give them a try. I purchased one of their 8GB kits of XPG.
These modules met and exceeded all my expectations. I was easily able to over clock these to 2400MHz. I'm sure some of you pros out there could get more out of these. Running at these speeds and at full load, the modules themselves didn't seem to retain a lot of heat. The heat spreaders do a really nice job.
The look of the modules is something I hadn't seen before. The heat spreaders really have a unique look. And if you're looking for something really out there, they have yellow/gold ones as well. The gold ones would look really nice with some of the ASUS motherboards.
They have a lifetime warranty (most RAM does) and overclock like crazy. In the end, I'm really happy with this choice and will keep ADATA on my list of hardware vendors going forward.
