Asus ROG maximus VII ranger
i7 4790k
4 dimms cosair dom pro 1866Hz
Cooler master 240 m
samsung 250 evo ssd 1Tb
casair RM850
Poss culprit Palit 980 super jetstream
define R5 case
Now I can get onto the bios with the GPU out of the PCI e slot. I have installed windows 8.1 and downloaded but cannot install 980 drivers thinking that was the problem BUT since i cannot put the GPU. I cannot install drivers
I have pulled out all the stuff and re-installed, checked the connections, checked cpu pins on mobo check alignment of cpu cooler and made sure it wasnt too tight etc.
I am at my whitts end with this t be frank. spent the best part of 3 days sorting errors (blah blah)
Could the GPU be broken? It lights up/spins when inserted in slot.
