A fake Asus G74sx motherboard?

Hello everyone! Need your help guys!
Recently got a problem.
It had begun when I updated my Asus g74sx bios and totally bricked my beautiful laptop. R.I.P.
One week ago I have bought an used motherboard on Aliexpress. Before I have bought it I asked a seller tonn of questions.
So he said "-yes the MB is the same you can buy it, everything is fine."
When I finally got the MB it was different from the picture from the sellers web site, more over it had just two RAM sockets, whereas my old one has 4.
When I asked a seller why he had sold the wrong MB it seemed as he just does not see any issue in it.

So the matter why I am writing it is, Aliexpress has a 3 times money back rule.

http://www.aliexpress.com/
buyerprotection/how_to_be_eligible.html#3x_money_back
In other case I need to pay a shipping expenses which are 60$, what I do not want to pay at all, as it was not my fault at all.

And my question is, are there any Asus g74sx motherboards come with 2 RAM sockets? Is it possible that the seller just sent me the fake one?

Based on working at Asus repair facility, I've seen models that list various motherhoods to be compatible, then aren't. Where the alternative board had an extra USB or a missing other slot.
