Hi,just finish installing my rig, spec below:

Asus R4E
4820k
Corssair dominator 1866 C9 4*4GB
EVGA GTX780Ti
SSD..
blah blahblah...

anyway, after booting up, it's lagging with Windows 8.1 from time to time so i check CPU-z
it was just running @ 1.2GHz with multiplayer 12...
get my head into BIOS and try manual adjust the multiplayer..no luck...still X12

any advice on running all 8 core with full speed?
(already set it at x46 and SHD be running at 4.6Ghz..)

thanks for any input 😄

Yep, it's just that. If you set the power plan to balanced it will clock up and down as needed. High Performance will run it at full clock 24/7.

Post screenshots of all the settings that you changed. Use an USB pendrive and press F12 when you're inside your BIOS.
