Just wanted to see if these voltage are the normal voltages for 4790k with a Formula VI mobo on air (zalman 9500). Did some googling came up with mixed results.
Looked around on Here also most stuff i found as for Water cooling with higher starting clock speeds couldn't find anything for where i was starting.
I'm overclocked to 4600. and voltage is set at 1.280, It jumps up to 1.296 under load.
I went down to 1.275 and it wasn't stable so I'll mess around with with some in between voltages when i have more time.
Only thing i changed was auto to XMP and the cpu voltages can the clock multiplier. from default in bios
I found this website are these voltages about the average for the differant clock speeds?
http://www.anandtech.com/show/8227/devils-canyon-review-intel-core-i7-4790k-and-i5-4690k/2Here is a pic of what they said are the voltages are
they about the normal voltages? Here's my Overclock 15 min stress test.
Lastly is there a 4790k forum where i can see other peoples overclocks? I searched and couldn't find it. If there isn't I that would be a great ideal but i guess pretty hard to do for all the CPUs and organizing would prob be a pain.
