Hey!

I have few questions, maybe someone can help me out?
When i power up my pc, the cpu fan goes 100% for 5-6 seconds, also when waking up from sleep.
I am using Z97-Pro Gamer, i5 4570 and enermax pwm cooler with hyper 212 evo heatsink.
So maybe it is possible to avoid fan going full speed at startup?

The other question is that is it possible to turn off Extreme FX lightning, Power led and other devices when pc is completely shut down.
Right now both mb, keyboard and mouse leds keep shining on, even when pc is turned off.

Hello

The fan headers have full power/signaling applied until the boot precess gets far enough along that the chosen settings can be implemented. Setting ErP to enabled in the motherboard's UEFI should disable the lighting. Keep in mind this will also disable all power for such things as USB port charging when shut down and WOL.

Tou my older z77 motherboard cpu vent was like 10-20% starting up and barely noticable. It was also pwm controlled.
Perhaps there is still a possibility to reduce cpu cooler speed when turning on my pc?
