Hi all, I own an Asus Z97 Pro Gamer with the latest BIOS. My problem: on windows shutdown (psu goes off), the Logithec PS2 keyboard and the USB devices (i.e. steelseries mouse) stay on/powered.
I have same mb and the G510s keyboard and G300s mouse from logitech you prob have wake timers enable in bios or windows which means by def usb ports are powered its strange though that your ps port is but try disable wake timers in bios and windows or ignore it i do only thing is if i unplug mouse or keyboard plug back in they light up the whole room but try looking in bios for wake on lan or what ever they are called could be enable mouse to wake system in windows go to power options change settings go into advanced settings about half way down you will see enable wake timers untick also i would turn off fast reboot same place just dont goto advanced settings but click the settings change currently unavailable settings scroll down remove tick from fast reboot because the Z87 and Z97 have a problem with not shutting down proberly because ms thinks you need to boot pc in 1 sec when ever i had this option ticked and i shut down pc it would still be running could see the led from psu and i would get zapped "before i made sure to use grounded plug" if i touched pc to turn on and the was touching my radiator 🙂 hope trhis helps
