Z87-Delux/Dual onboard Audio popping cracking.

Hi I have a Z87-Delux/Dual Bios 1305 with the Latest Realtek 64 bit drivers installed v6.0.1.6937 and is connected to a AV amp via optical. 32gb RAM and a I7-4770K 3.5ghz (NOT Overclocked at all), Geforce GTX 670, drivers up to date

I am getting this cracking and popping noise on ALL audio whether MP3/CD/Web/Video.

I searched the web left right and centre and found many issues regarding this but nothing has worked to resolve it on the Z87.

Reboots help but its soon back with vengeance.. If I switch my output to DTS i can see the amp keep losing the DTS stream and picking it up again.

HELP.. i'm at my wits end with this issue.

I can not offer you any advice besides please send your board back and get one that does not pop or crackle.

RMA the motherboard.

Was this a fresh install of the os?

What bit and sampling rate is the output set to?

What happens on the analog outputs?

Oh Setting it to use Windows Native Audio drivers and i get the same results...

It started on a fairly clean OS install. I does it on all sample rates on 2, 48 & 96kHz are set within the supported format rates. When set to any 2 channel 16bit/24bit 44100 to 96000 i get the popping crackling noise intermittently when set to DTS i get Audio Cut out.

I dont have any analog input devices to be able to test the analog

Check for any device conflicts in the OS before you RMA the board.

No conflicts of other hardware..

I have simply resolved it now by disabling the ASUS on-boad HD audio and Installing a Sound Blaster ZX DTS audio card... Hey presto sound works perfectly...

Pulling my computer apart to send the board away for testing and not having a computer for weeks on end = NO WAY!!
