Z170 Pro Gaming - where is ROG Connect Plus software?

Hi All,

I'm interested in the Asus Front Base to use with my Z170 Pro Gaming motherboard. The Z170 Pro Gaming is listed as a supported board, but I can't find the "ROG Connect Plus" software (which Asus advises is mandatory) in the Z170 Pro Gaming's software download list - either for my OS (Windows 10 64-bit) or any other OS.

Is this software contained in another utility program, downloaded from another location, or just not needed for the Z170 Pro Gaming to use the Front Base?

Hi gwwishart,

I believe its hidden under "Utilities" you would have to hit "See All Downloads" and go to:

Version 1.01.172016/06/138.27 MBytes*
Front Base Driver:V1.01.17
FW: V48 (included in driver)
Note: Must install both driver and ROG Connect Plus to ensure all functions work properly.
