Hi All,
I am recently having a load of issues with system:
i7 6850K,
DDR4 Corsair Dominator Platinum 3000MHZ,
Asus X99 Strix Gaming,
EVGA SUPERNOVA 1000W T2 (swapped from a Corsair AX860W, that in the end was functional)
nVIdia TItan XP
The main issues is that my system , after roughly three months of bliss, is now:
- unable to sustain any kind of overclocking ( it has been running with XMP on for 3 months)
- crashes on loading XMP profiles (QCODE 00 or Reboot Loop)
I already swapped one X99 Motherboard, had the i7 6850k RMAed and declared functional (proofed with Prime95 overnight).
I also tried replacing the RAM with a pair of TridentZ 32GB DDR4 3200 MHz, just one stick was recognized and was unable to enable XMP.
I really do not know what to do anymore; XMP, after being enable for 3 months with no issues, started causing an endless reboot loop. I swapped motherboard and the issue was still there upon first boot; RMAed the CPU but it was found to be ok.
And also, to top it all of, my Asus PG27AQ monitor has started to strobe RGB color patterns when no signal is present, totally out of the blue.
I am starting to think that Asus is becoming more and more of abysmal quality.
Sorry for the rant but I had to vent this somewhere; I would appreciate any idea on what could be causing these issues.
