Hi,
I have been trying to make my X370 (+R5 5600G) post without success. It is running an already pre-installed OS but won't post without a dedicated GPU in a PCIE slot. It posts just fine with my GPU installed. F1 continue setting is already set to disabled. Anyone here care to chip in new ideas how to tackle this problem? I really don't want to buy a new board or another GPU because it is wasted power.
Cheers

This board does not support Ryzen or Athlon APUs with integrated graphics cores. The processor cores also work on the board, but a PCI-E GPU is required for graphics or image playback. No image outputs are or were deliberately installed on the X370 board. But I think there is the possibility of combining them with the appropriate GPU card from Vega 64 or Navi series and the corresponding APU. Don't be fooled by the APU configuration options in the BIOS. This is more or less a universal BIOS for AM4 ROG boards with and without onboard graphics function. I also have the same ROG Crosshair 6 Hero board, just with a Ryzen 3600X and 32GB of G.Skill Trident Z 3200MHz Ram. You can still install an Asus Hyper Mini M.2 SSD card to use a 2. bootable SSD in the PCI-E 3 slot without slowing down the 16 PCI E lanes for the GPU to just 8 lanes, see the manual from point 1.1.5 and in the BIOS in the PCI Config you can combine the unneeded PCI lanes of the other small ports for the PCI-E 3 port and convert them to a PCI-E x4 2.0. this is the best option for a Single GPU Card setup running with PCI-E 3.0 x16
