My setup (motherboard X99-A II + Samsung 950 M.2 SSD) was fine for 9 years: when booting the PC the BIOS was starting Windows 10 automatically.
But for around a week (maybe 10 days, not sure as I don't use this PC often anymore) it boots to the BIOS UEFI.
In the list of bootable drives "Boot Priority" I don't see the SSD anymore.
But when going to "Boot Menu" I can see it and when I select it Windows starts as usual.
The only thing that I think could have caused that is a Windows update, as nothing else has changed.
I've updated Windows and the BIOS (it was still running the original version).
I've ensured another SSD was correctly plugged in as it was suggested by some sources.
But still the same issue.
Any idea about what could have caused that, and how to fix it?
Thanks in advance for any input.
