Windows install freezes

Well, I finally put together my computer with these specs:

Intel i7-4770k 3.5ghz processor
GeForce 2gb 770 GPU
2 TB hardrive
16gb ram
Asus Maximus vi Hero MOBO
Windows 8.1

Now the issue is everytime I try and run the Windows install disk I run it and click install and it brings me to the product registration screen. I type in the product key and right when I finish typing it in the "Next" button lights up and it freezes. I'm not sure what is happening but I can't get past that point. I haven't updated my bios or anything as I'm not sure on how to do that before I have an OS installed if that's the issue. All I've done is put everything together, turned it on and went into EZ Mode for the bios and changed the date and time and then ran the windows disc. Some help would really be appreciated. Thanks.

Could you please simply do a clear CMOS and not change anything in your bios at all.

I suggest you only have your OS hard drive connected and use Microfosts USB tool to crate a USB boot device.
