Has anyone successfully gone from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 by using the free update process provided by Microsoft. I have tried may times and it always hangs in the middle of the process. I have waited up to 15 hours and it makes no progress. It is stuck in copying files updating drivers process.

My BIOS is 802 and I have the latest Windows 8.1 IME installed.

What does the IRST log file say?

What drives are u using?

Switched a while ago to Samsung SM843T in raid, and no problems there.
installing it with Intel 320 - 600gb Raid gave troubles.
Forcing manual, via device manager solved the problem.

Can't say for sure but I would assume no. For example, I think the formula has DIMM restrictions that the black edition doesn't.
