My old motherboard had a 3TB limit so I was wondering if there is a limit on this motherboard? I plan on adding 2 x 3TB in raid 1 and a 3rd 3TB as well. I cant find any info in the manual if there is a limit. Thanks again!

I don't know if this is the same for the MVF, but most boards that have come out recently all seem to support up to 4TB Drives...if you have one already, hook it up and see how it goes 🙂

if im not 100% wrong, its in the bios programing that sets the limit.
or it can be the prosessor it self too.

Well... I guess ill find out the hard way lol... I'll just order the hdds and ill give an update whether it caps out or not.

as long as you use GPT partitions in Windows 7 x64 there is no problem I think. 64-bit architecture can support much more than 4TB ... it's just NTFS (derived from 32-bit world of NT) being limited to 2.2TB I think. Modern boards/bioses do not enforce any artificial limits on storage size I belive, it's just choices of OS being a limiting factor.
