3. Learn how to use the USB Bios Flashback feature of your ROG board, to perform 1 &/or 2 ...

4. Flash back to an earlier bios version with USB Bios Flashback ...
... & then flash forward to the "suspect" bios version again with EZ Flash 2.

5. Consider that there are some ROG folk, that follow a guideline to NEVER flash a bios update from within the OS ...

6. Under no circumstances should you ever interrupt the "re-start to re-set" process of a bios update ...
... you must allow the "re-set" procedure to run through the "re-set" process completely ...
... it will bring you to the F1 screen, or boot into Windows; depending on the bios version you have flashed.

7. Enjoy your new build !!! ... 😉

Wait, let me see if I understand correctly...

1. USB BIOS Flashback is only to get an older version of BIOS back?

And

2. EZ Flash 2 is to put a new version of BIOS on the board?

I would only use the rog flashback port only if you cant post at all and need to re-flash the bios...

I would recommend you use EZ Flash 2 within the bios to flash to new or older bios's, make sure youre USB drive is fat32 formated and use the biosrenamer tool to rename the bios file

Good luck..

Personally I am more interested in why or how one reaches that conclusion that the bios is not working well or corrupted. What behaviours led you to that conclusion?
To help us help you - please provide as much information about your system and the problem as possible.

I also agree on that point.
