Hi,

I am wondering, What is the 3 pin header to the right of the CPU and CPU_OPT headers for on the Maximus V Gene?? it looks like another fan header (with no guideplate) but i can not see its use documented anywhere.

ahhh.. that would be the "plug-a-fan-into-this-and-no-post" header. im sure you can guess how i know. 😄

It is a serial port or something for developers accessing the firmware or cpu directly. There is a post that explains what it is, but I can not find it.
