What is ASUS com service?

Hi,

I’m wondering what ASUS com service is, and what programs it’s used for.

Currently don’t have any ASUS software installed anymore, so I’m wondering if this comes preinstalled with ASUS motherboards or not?

I previously used armoury crate, and gpu tweak, but I uninstalled both. I’m wondering if these are just leftovers from those programs and if they can be safely disabled or not?

If GPU Tweak or AC are no longer present then no.

Hello,

Did you use the uninstall tool from the support page for Armoury Crate?

I did use the uninstall tool, yes.

I’ve heard that there can sometimes be some leftovers despite using the uninstall tool.

I’m mainly wanting to know if it’s necessary to leave it, or if I can disable it or remove it.

I don’t have any sort of ASUS software installed anymore, so I’m not sure.

I see. If that’s the case, I assume I can safely disable or remove it?

i have an Asus motherboard but I don’t have any of these programs installed anymore.

Sorry for the constant replies, just hope I’m not misinterpreting anything.

I just don’t want to mess anything up

I accidentally marked a post as the solution when I never meant to. I’m new to the site.

So I guess to reiterate, since I don’t have Armoury crate, and GPU tweak, I can safely disable or remove ASUS com service?

Can I do the same with ASUS cert service?

your answer is very ambiguous

do you mean "no, you shouldnt remove it" or "no, its not needed any more"

your answer does not make this clear
